Our Aim

At abbey Farm Cottage we are keen to be sustainable and achieve zero waste, there is no more than 20 metres of food miles in our cheese.  in addition any of our award-winning milk not turned into our award-winning cheese is transformed into our Rosedale Soap, along with the whey a waste product from the cheese.

 

Our hand poured cold saponified soaps are made in small batches on the farm using Rosedale Raw Goats Milk and Raw Goats milk Whey.

Our Soaps are suitable to use on your face, hands and body. Are great for removing makeup, use in the shower, shaving or leaving by the wash hand basin to wash your hands.

The added ingredients are wherever possible sourced from within the North York Moors

 

Preservative free

​

Our Soap bars are long lasting and produce a lovely lather, they contain no added preservatives and as a result they prefer not to sit in a puddle of water. Keep them dry after use and they will give you weeks of natural bathing.

 

We use no parabens or Palm oil in our soaps.

 

The range comes in 85g and 60 g bars

We have two standard natural soaps  

​

The Natural Rosedale Whey which contains:

 Rosedale Raw Goats Milk Whey, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera Leaf extract.

​

To which we add Geranium essential oil and Rose Petals to create The Geranium and Rose-Dale Whey Soap  this is also available as a 70g rose shaped soap

​

The Natural Rosedale Soap contains: Rosedale Raw Goats Milk, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera Leaf extract.

To which we add natural essential oils to create:

Lemongrass Soap

Lavender Soap

Bergamot Soap

Cedarwood and lime Soap

 

Our final soap Heather Honey and Oatmeal Soap uses local Heather Honey and locally sourced Oatmeal.
